The Academy Day

From when the register is taken, pupils are at school for six and a half hours a day, which totals the compulsory 32.5 hours a week. A typical day at the Green Oaks Primary Academy would follow the pattern below:

8:40am	The gates are opened.
8:45am	The classroom doors are unlocked and pupils can enter the Academy.
8:50am	The gates are locked. Registers are taken, lessons begin
8:55 am - 9:15 am	Monday assembly and Friday celebration assembly. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday lesson time
9:15 am - 10:20 am	Lessons resume
10:20am - 10:35am	Morning playtime
10:35am	Lessons resume
12:00pm - 12:55pm	Lunchtime
12:55pm	Pupils are collected from the playground, registers are taken before lessons begin.
1:00 pm	Lessons resume
3:20pm	Home time
